Adoptee Night 2015 with Mixed Roots and The LA Dodgers
Last Friday, in honor of May being National Foster Care month, Spokeo was proud to support the Mixed Roots Foundation in its effort to send 1,000 adopted and foster youth to the Los Angeles Dodgers game against the San Diego Padres for Adoptee Night 2015.
Founded and established in 2011, the Mixed Roots Foundation’s vision is to improve the lives of those who have been touched by adoption and foster care by leveraging philanthropy and grassroots fundraising to provide important post adoption resources. Spokeo has participated in the organization’s Adoptee Nights since it’s first one in 2013.
In addition to the 75 kids we sent through our community supporter role this year, we also decided to tag along ourselves for a night of fun at the ballgame! In addition to the Dodger win, it was a great night with fireworks, a first pitch by Apl.de.ap of the Black Eyed Peas (an adoptee himself!) and of course delicious hot dogs.
We are proud to support the Mixed Roots Foundation and look forward to future events!
